FREMONT, CA: SquadLocker, a Road Island-based online tools and services provider, secured $20 million in Series C round of financing. SquadLocker, with its innovative suite of disruptive technology, helps coaches, organizers, and administrators design and distribute uniforms, player gear and spiritwear to youth organizations and schools across North America. The company's online platform, which integrates the e-commerce experience with its wholly-owned facility, offers single unit, custom garments from top athletic brands.
SquadLocker makes the job easier for league managers to manage youth programs and for coaches to spend more time mentoring new athletes as the company single-handedly takes care of the whole process from instant online store creation to free graphic artwork assistance; also decoration, production and fulfillment. In order to be able to serve individual players at any time, the company offers fastest delivery with help of stores that never close.
"SquadLocker is poised to continue playing a pivotal role in the custom sports gear, equipment, and apparel industry. We look forward to working with ABS Capital as we continue our rapid growth by delivering our services to more organizations, schools and teams," said Founder and CEO Gary Goldberg, a third-generation textile engineer.
