Providence has increased its commitment and relationship one year after deploying RxRevu's Real-Time Prescription Benefit solution, which allows doctors to quickly and easily locate prescription options tailored to each patient's health requirements and insurance benefits RxRevu. Over one million prescription transactions have been completed at Providence using the RxRevu service since its inception. RxRevu will continue collaborating closely with the Providence team to present relevant data at the point of care and build product updates that encourage continued use and value.
RxRevu's Real-Time Prescription Benefit solution enables cost-effective prescribing at over 500 health systems across the US, including the entire Providence system, which spans seven states and includes more than 50 hospitals and 1,000 clinics. RxRevu allows Providence's 25,000 doctors to evaluate previously unavailable patient out-of-pocket costs, coverage constraints, and lower-cost options before completing prescription prescriptions. Patients can be sure that they receive economical and clinically acceptable care because this information is available in the electronic health record. The technology benefits support staff by lowering pharmacy call-backs, prior authorization volumes, and other administrative duties, in addition to assisting patients and clinicians in selecting cost-effective solutions.
"Our investment in RxRevu aligns with our brand promise of "Know me, care for me, ease my way" by enabling visibility into medication options that are personalized and affordable for the patient," said Aaron Martin, Managing General Partner of Providence Ventures and Chief Digital Officer of Providence. "We are eager to continue our work together and develop new capabilities that will empower patients and providers nationwide."
