Fremont, CA: ReadySet Surgical, an Ohio- based Healthcare IT company aiming at driving efficiency and compliance within the surgical supply chain, secured $5.5 million in Series A round of financing. The round was led by Cleveland-based JumpStart's NEXT Fund, with active participation from ReadySet's Seed-round investors and new investor North Coast Ventures. JumpStart Senior Partner Rem Harris is expected to join ReadySet's Board of Directors.
ReadySet's software is designed to build a consistent supply chain between hospitals and medical device manufacturers, generating significant cost savings for both parties as well as the patients they serve.

The company's Series A financing builds upon an exceptional year as it saw a rapidly growing list of customers and the introduction of new contract-compliance tools to the market. The fund will support the company to expand sales and marketing, develop its products and customer success to serve an increasing customer base.
