Monarx reported today the close of a $3.4 M seed Funding round, drove by Pelion Ventures, with substantial cooperation by Kickstart Seed Fund. Pelion Partner Carl Ledbetter joined the Monarx Board. The organization collected the cash in May of 2017 and has been discreetly chipping away at another Cyber Security arrangement that was discharged in mid-Q2 2018.

Gavin Christensen, the managing partner at Kickstart Seed Fund, sees a similar opportunity. "This is a vital security hole that impacts the majority of servers providing the internet. We are extremely eager to band together with Matt, whom I have known and worked with for a long time, and his technical cofounders, Jon and Tom Gay. We are particularly keen on this new way to deal with Application Security."
