Health Note aims to accelerate market expansion, expand EHR integrations, and invest in further R&D with the funds.
FREMONT, CA: "Front-line healthcare workers need more support than ever, and we're excited to have partnered with several great investors to enable us assist healthcare professionals. The vision for Health Note has always been to support care providers by empowering patients to create and interact with their health data before the visit starts, thus reducing the growing documentation burden that frustrates the vast majority of doctors and care teams. The additional funding will help Health Note replicate its early success with mid-size practices and health systems at scale, which is sorely needed as our health system continues to operate with limited staff." says Joshua Reischer, CEO and co-founder, MD of Health Note.
Health Note, a platform for pre-visit clinical intake automation that uses digital patient intake to create clinical notes for doctors ahead of patient appointments, closed a $17 million Series A Round of financing, which was led by SignalFire initially. UnityPoint Health, Northwell Holdings, Cedars Sinai Health Ventures, and Northwell Health are all partners in SignalFire.

When a patient uses Health Note, it's like texting a friend: they get a text reminding them of the appointment and a link to confirm it, which starts a "conversation" with the Health Note chatbot. The discussion is dynamic and intelligent, employing sophisticated clinical decision trees to pose questions a doctor may ask.
It develops based on the patient's responses. Patient replies provide health data directly embedded into distinct fields, resulting in less manual paperwork for front desk and clinical staff and more informed interactions between patients and caregivers. Using Health Note, patient information is ready for review directly in the EHR before the visit, rather than needing to be recorded. In contrast, the patient is present and documented after hours.
