FREMONT, CA: HawkEye, the leading global commercial provider of space-based radio frequency (RF) data and analytics, has secured $55 million in additional funding, bringing its total raised to over $155 million. The Series C round was led by NightDragon and included further investment from existing investors Advance, Shield Capital, Razor's Edge Ventures, Adage Capital, Dorilton Ventures, and Esri International.

The funding will go toward the construction and launch of three more satellite clusters, broadening the reach of HawkEye 360's expected constellation. The organization will have nine next-generation satellite clusters in space when completely deployed by the end of 2022. The funding will also go toward the creation of complementary ground infrastructure, communications, and software that will allow for high-speed data processing and distribution for time-critical applications.
