Fremont, CA: Multi-cloud automation software leader HashiCorp raised USD 175 million in a Series E funding round, taking the company valuation to USD 5.1 billion. Franklin Templeton led the financing round with participation from T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., Geodesic Capital, as well as existing HashiCorp investors GGV Capital, IVP, Mayfield, Redpoint Ventures, and True Ventures. The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate HashiCorp’s focus on enabling multi-cloud infrastructure automation for organizations around the globe that are working to extract the full value of multi-cloud IT environments.
