Fremont, CA: Nurse practitioners (NPs) are becoming more and more important members of primary care teams all around the country. NP-led clinics aim to provide multidisciplinary treatment in areas where many patients do not have a regular primary care physician. Due to a physician scarcity in the locations where these clinics got established, the physician-to-NP ratio is lower than in other primary healthcare delivery models, and physicians play a more consultative role. The first of 26 NP-led clinics have got evaluated, and the results show enhanced access to treatment and excellent levels of patient and provider satisfaction.
Greater Good Health, a venture-backed healthcare business dedicated to reimagining value-based care, has introduced the industry's first primary care model centered on nurse practitioners (NPs). Greater Good Health, which began in California, intends to extend primary care access to patients across the country while also developing a system that meets the requirements of NPs, resulting in greater, healthier living for the entire ecosystem.

Wellness tools will offer a variety of advantages and a mindfulness culture to support a caring approach designed to minimize burnout.
"Our goal is to redefine holistic whole-person primary care, starting with the people healthcare relies on the most—nurse practitioners," said Hastanan. "Nurse practitioners are uniquely positioned to drive success in value-based care, improving equity and access to healthcare. What is missing today is a system that supports their practice. We have created a platform that helps them achieve fulfillment in their careers, advocate for their well-being, and enable them to connect on a personal level and avoid burnout."
