GenePlanet, a Ljubjana, Slovenia-based health intelligence company, ended up €10M minority equity funding. As a major aspect of the agreement, JF ventures will acquire an undisclosed, "qualified minority stake" of the Ljubljana, Slovenia-based firm.

As indicated by Founder and CEO Marko Bitenc, the venture speaks to a crucial point for the company's future development and extension.
"We believe that our Health Intelligence platform will bring better results than the currently available solutions and will help customers to live a healthier lifestyle," he said in a statement. "The investment will help us to develop our successful portfolio beyond genetics."
GenePlanet will utilize the assets for product improvement and worldwide extension. In particular, the firm said it will target on establishing its Health Intelligence stage, integrates biological data, for example, genetic predispositions and current status of blood biomarkers with information from smart devices and wearables to provide health recommendations. As indicated by the firm, Health Intelligence will go about as a digital health engagement platform that enhances a Homo sapein health and prosperity.
