Fremont, CA: Shandi, a plant-based food-tech company, closed its second seed round on Wednesday (18 August), led by Singapore-based Tolaram, one of Africa's largest packaged food companies.
Other investors in this round include Australia-based food-tech accelerator SparkLabs Cultiv8, as well as Simmarpal Singh, former CEO-India for Louis Dreyfus and prominent angel investor.
