Fremont, CA: Elysium Health, a company dealing in life sciences, raised $40 million in Series C equity and debt financing. The funding was led by GISEV Family Office (Giuliani SpA / Royalty Pharma / HBM Healthcare / Nogra Pharma) and was joined by Mayo Clinic Ventures and leading venture lender Western Technology Investment (WTI), the first debt lenders to Stemcentrx, Health IQ, and Practice Fusion. Returning investors include Morningside Ventures, General Catalyst, and Breyer Capital.
The company involved in developing clinically-validated health products based on developments in scientific research is planning to use the amount raised for expansion of the company's Health product portfolio and pipeline - which now comprises of tests as well as clinically validated interventions - the continued growth of its customer base. It will also start additional human clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of new and existing products.
