Credit Clear, a Melbourne fintech firm, brought $8.5 million up in financing from investors led by Regal Funds Management and Alex Waislitz of Thorney Technologies for automating the process of payment requests from customers and clients.
Founded by Lewis Romano in 2016, the startup enables organizations to send messages asking for an installment of payments from clients through avenues, for example, email, SMS, and Facebook envoy. Clients would then be able to pay by means of card or PayPal, set up a payment plan, or request to get call back.

The startup revealed it has sent in excess of 1.6 million messages in the course of recent months, asking for over $140 million in installments from 190,000 clients of big business customers, from utilities organizations to telcos and government agencies.
Simon Scalzo, managing director and CEO of Credit Clear, stated, "We have been taking however much input as possible over numerous iterations and effectively commercialize the product, demonstrated how valuable the company can be. Our early clients love the product because it is solving an actual problem, simply."
As indicated by the startup, its platform has helped customer’s increment collections by up to 280 percent and lessens working costs by 83 percent.
The startup's advancement preceding this raise had been financed by Melbourne property developer Mark Casey, who went ahead as the cornerstone investor and fellow co-founder and now fills in as chairman of Credit Clear.
