The funds acquired will be used to upgrade the firm’s products existing in the market—Buildos, a solution for secure facilities, and Retailr, a solution for smart retail. Brazn has also developed an agriculture-based product called Agrios.
IoT operating system is an online platform that congregates data protocols from all sensory devices, unpacks, and processes in real-time to convert data into actionable tasks, visualizations, and integrates it with existing business schematics.
Brazn launched the three solutions in 2018 and has availed successful pilots in Malaysia and Thailand within a year of the same. Brazn’s partners include Loxley Public Company Limited, one of Thailand’s major IT systems integration firm, Mochit Bus Terminal, an online convenience store operator, and Sunsweet of Chiangmai. The IoT startup also partnered with a convenience store operator in Malaysia.
The firms believe that the retail IoT space is packed with either point solutions that function in isolation, or large-scale implementations that are proven to be impractical in today’s fast-moving world, which needs an on-demand SaaS solution.
Brazn’s vision is to bring in-depth domain knowledge, big data analytics, and business visualizations all onto a single platform that holistically addresses the real-world functionality of retailers of every size.
Tin Men Venture Capital has availed early inputs previously, becoming a shareholder. Brazn will streamline the funding to develop three turnkey cases, Equipping sensitive facilities with smart securities, IoT for Real-time in-store analytics in retail, and to improve the agriculture of Soft crop.
The partnership among the founders of Tin Men Capital and Brazn looks forward to creating more value for both current and future investors.
