Ansys and EQT Private Equity, the company's current owner, have signed a definitive agreement to acquire Zemax. The transaction is expected to close in the upcoming fourth quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions. As a result, the transaction is not likely to significantly impact financial results in 2021.
