Fremont, CA: The pandemic has dramatically raised growth in digital healthcare initiatives, particularly access to care. According to a study, funding for digital health companies nearly quadrupled from 7.5 billion dollars in 2019 to 14.1 billion dollars in 2022. Massive gains in financing for virtual care and telemedicine were expected, but the data revealed more subtle patterns. With many people confined to their houses and cut off from social media, a greater need for behavioral health intervention has emerged.
PRIA Healthcare Management (PRIA), a pioneer in technology-enabled Market Access services that expedite the uptake and quick commercialization of novel devices and procedures, announced today a major investment from Aldrich Capital Partners, a Virginia-based private equity company. PRIA Healthcare will rapidly extend its Market Access solutions to emerging medtech firms confronting clinical trials and early reimbursement issues for unique and life-changing medicines with the help of growth funding.

PRIA intends to pursue its aim of providing new medical devices to patients and professionals in dozens of specialties. PRIA's extensive knowledge of early reimbursement strategy, clinical trial reimbursement programs, and industry-leading patient access programs ultimately improves the commercial success of ground-breaking medical device treatments. The funds will get used to invest in innovation, and to broaden PRIA's access to more medical device makers, therefore boosting PRIA's already strong growth pace.
Driven by medical data, PRIA collaborates with major medical device manufacturers and rising medical device start-ups throughout the country to create coordinated patient access initiatives that traverse the complexities of coding, coverage, and payment for innovative treatments. PRIA draws together patients, clinicians, medical device makers, and health insurers to ensure that people receive the best treatment available for their circumstances.
"After bootstrapping PRIA since our founding in 2012, we could see it was time for us to take the next step as the business grew and the needs in the market continued to expand," says Mike Simon, Founder, and CEO of PRIA Healthcare. "After meeting with many potential partners, we chose to work with the team at Aldrich Capital Partners because of their deep experience within our space and an enormous set of resources they will bring to the table, outside of just capital."
