CDPQ leads a round with the participation of existing investors, Bessemer Venture Partners, to accelerate Montreal-based Unito's market traction in North America.
FREMONT, CA: Unito, the market leader in workflow management software, announced the closing of a USD 20 million funding round that was co-led by CDPQ and included current investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Tom Williams, Mistral Ventures, Rainfall Ventures, and Investissement Québec. The additional capital will enable Unito to strengthen its market and expand its connectors across the whole portfolio of digital productivity products, including Atlassian, Corpay, Teamwork, the Cincinnati Reds, and Wrike.
Unito unifies various SaaS apps, enabling workflows that cut over the divisions between different teams, companies, and tools. Information can freely flow between apps like Asana, GitHub, Google Sheets, Jira, Salesforce, Trello, and many others thanks to the innovative no-code connections, facilitating smoother collaboration and boosting productivity. Any non-technical knowledge worker can use the user-friendly platform. With the interfaces, one Unito client, Boveda, saves a week's workday, and another, Verivox, streamlined the laborious manual process of moving 50,000 Jira issues to ClickUp.

According to Marc Boscher, co-founder and CEO of Unito, as SaaS tools grow, firms are adopting integrations that bring tools together and fuel the cross-functional teams that are the future of work. Their clients know the benefits of no-code, two-way syncs, and we are grateful to have investors who support our goal of breaking down tool silos and bringing work together.
The rise of SaaS apps has changed how people work and how businesses allocate resources. This change has been accelerated by the move to remote work brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The difficulties brought on by these modifications gave the age-old business issue of cross-team collaboration a new sense of urgency as remote teams looked for alternatives to meetings to make asynchronous work productive. The common paradigm used by integration players is if a trigger, then action. However, two-way connections with this basic structure are challenging to set up and manage.
In order to meet this expanding demand, Unito has increased its headcount by three times since 2020 and reduced its gender pay gap from 11 per cent to four per cent. Unito's monthly free trials received inbound doubled in six months in 2022. Unito can now take advantage of its market traction and expand into even more SaaS categories, starting with support tools in fresh funding
