In the wake of rapid population growth and urbanization, annual waste generation is predicted to grow up to 70 percent from the current levels by 2050. This rise will not only be determined to the environment but also affect our way of life. One many ask how? Most of the generated waste finds its way to landfills, clogging the soil porosity and polluting our oceans, which perpetuates chemical emissions like CO2, in addition to the carbon footprint from fossil fuels. For example, for every barrel of fossil fuel produced and used, 412kg of CO2e (CO2 equivalent emissions) are released into the atmosphere, a key concern for environmental sustainability. Thus, when generating energy from waste—whether electricity or heat— how we manage the waste is always the first consideration.

It also provides the full technology supply chain to implement the waste-to-energy process. On the other hand, Clean Energy Development (CED) administrates system sales and operation by offering packed waste-to-energy solutions to industrial site operators facing an organic waste management setback.

Complementing these waste-energy solutions, CEE has also been delivering solar power systems across Australia since 1999 and has installed more solar panels and systems compared to any other businesses or companies in the Australian renewable energy history. They also own and operate various solar shops and premier solar projects.
