Unlocking your genetic blueprint may just be the best investment in your life.

Seems like a far-fetched idea?

Not so much, at least not for Danny Yeung, CEO and Co-Founder of CircleDNA-the world’s most comprehensive DNA test.

Yeung believes, “Health is Wealth. Without good health, life can be a struggle. The 1st step to living a healthy and active life is to understand our genetic blueprint, it makes us who we are and who we may become. For many of us, we only care about health when it is often too late but for most diseases, it can be highly prevented, if we only take action earlier.”

DNA technology has advanced significantly since the Human Genome Project was completed in 2003 that we can now understand so much from genetics, from risk for cancers and diseases, to understanding one’s optimal diet, nutrition and sports profile by doing a simple at home consumer DNA test.

Also for most individuals, early risk detection improves the chances of prevention, — anyone predisposed to Alzheimer’s disease which studies have shown to be approximately 17% in Asians, can slow or even prevent the disease altogether through a controlled diet, and by taking up hobbies to boost blood and oxygen supply to the brain.

So in accordance, his firm is setting a new industry standard with its Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) technology with validated analytical accuracy of 99.9 percent. The technology is capable of detecting 4000 variants when compared to competitors using genotyping technology which can detect only two to three variants, with up to 85 percent false-positive rates.

Health is Wealth. Investing in a DNA test may just put you in control of your own health

Yeung notes “If anyone is serious on understanding their health via genetic testing, it’s highly important to check to see if the company is using Whole Exome Sequencing technology or a much older version which is genotyping. The results would be night and day.”

CircleDNA delivers its services with over 20 categories across 500+ reports including cancer, disease risk, family planning, drug response, nutrition, stress, sleep patterns, skin needs, personality traits, individual talents, ancestry, sports and many more.

The firm scans on all protein-coding genes, analyses mutations contributing to a customer’s health, and delivers a reported 50-100 times more data while compared to its competitors. This scientific approach allows the health-obsessed of all sexes and ages to identify their potential truly.

To further elaborate on CircleDNA’s use case, Danny recalls a user 37 years old found out he has an increased risk of colon cancer even though he has no family history of cancer. Once he found out, it triggered the user to schedule an colonoscopy which is normally done starting at age 50 and above. But due to this customer having a higher risk, he did it much earlier. As if there was any issue detected, it would be highly preventable. If he didn’t get his results, this customer would of waited until age 50 to start colonoscopy which may have been too late.

Through DNA analysis, Circle also identifies genetic diseases which may be passed on to the child from soon to be parents. “Carrier Screening is still a relatively new concept here in Asia but we believe for anyone planning for a family, it is a highly valuable tool with very actionable results. We also offer complimentary genetic counseling with every test to ensure customers can speak to a trained professional on their results” says Danny.

In addition, CircleDNA offers a free lifetime subscription of DNA updates which includes new categories which may be discovered in the future, without needing a new DNA sample again.

To ensure high-quality data, Circle runs NGS sequencing on Illumina’s latest Novaseq 6000 platform and adheres to International security standards ISO 27001 to protect customer’s personal and DNA data. The company actively renders its services in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, Australia, and many other countries. CircleDNA’s mission of giving everyone the power to be in control of their health is inspiring and a possible game-changer. It will have lots of work to educate the public and we will be following closely.
