Boon not only assists employees but also understands the value of building resilience in the workforce
Boon not only assists employees but also understands the value of building resilience in the workforce. It has put together a network of ICF-accredited coaches and masters-level therapists trained and vetted by the firm’s Chief Clinical Officer. From professional development to personal growth, Boon’s 100% confidential program is designed to meet employees where they are, when they need it. Through this program, the firm strives to strengthen resilience and de-stigmatize the pursuit of mental well-being in the workplace. A Boon coach is always available for an employee to make positive changes in their workplace and lifestyle. Boon helps employers send a strong message of care and devotion to their employees.
A case in point, several weeks after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with stay-at-home orders becoming the norm across the U.S., Piper Companies was beginning to see the toll of the current environment on its employees. In response, the Piper leadership team began to explore options to boost team morale and prioritize mental wellness as an organization. While virtual happy hours, fitness apps, and flexible work hours all proved valuable, Piper wanted a solution dedicated to helping employees do more than cope during unprecedented times. Boon provided Piper and their employees with a simple, modern, and easy-to-use program that would offer the opportunity to set aside time to focus on mental well-being. Within the first week of the launch, almost 20 percent of Piper’s employees had scheduled their first session with a coach, reaching 6x the average utilization rate of traditional Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
Marching ahead, Boon looks forward to expanding its team of coaches for having a more significant impact on thousands of employees. Further, the firm is set to expand its area of operations in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
