Additionally, the Japanese government's dedicated support to startups is poised to not only drive innovation but create new industries that can put the Japanese economy on a firm growth track. To improve the country's economic growth and compete with the world leading systems, one of Japan's top priorities is to activate its startup ecosystem. The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) launched the StartupCity Acceleration Program--an intensive mentoring course--to meet the objective of fostering Japanese startups with global expansion and fundraising ambitions. In addition to initiatives that promote a startup ecosystem, Japan is also home to numerous technological innovations in the realm of electronics--both industrial as well as domestic. Robots, backed by AI, are aiding businesses in cutting down costs and improving productivity with automation. Concurrently, several Japanese startups are blooming to cater to UN's sustainable development goals of zero hunger by spreading Japanese food culture across the globe.
