Wisconsin Grounds its Roots towards Entrepreneurship

When the 12 point action plan was launched in September, at the meeting of National Governors Association, it emphasized on growing state economies. It was seen that eight of the twelve steps were related to the growth and expansion of startups. This is because; startup companies can strengthen the entire economy leading to job creation. Wiscosin, situated in the U.S. favours entrepreneurial activity in various ways. It has accelerated the expansion of startups, reports Lisa Johnson of GazetteXtra.Com.

In Wisconsin, there is support for innovation and their entrepreneurial spirit is high. The demography of the state has a quest for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. There are various inventors, researchers and educators spread across from Madison to Milwaukee and from Eau Claire to the Fox Valley.

Citing a few examples in Wisconsin, we can start with inventors and Entrepreneurs Club of Juneau County, founded in 2002, which has a headcount of 2,000 members presently. To enhance entrepreneurial activity, there are startup weekends, idea contests, product or services launches conducted by entrepreneurs. There are several organizations that take up interactions between entrepreneurs. As all these takes place, there is room for creativity while establishing an organization.
