VoLT Raises an Undisclosed Amount of Seed Funding from YMS Mobitech

Bengaluru: EdTech startup, VoLT - Vocabulary Learning Technique, raises an undisclosed amount of seed funding from tech-based distribution and data processing company – YMS Mobitech. This latest funding will boost up the technology and resources of VoLT, bringing more online and offline products for learning and entertainment.

Commenting on the occasion, Abhishek Jain, Founder, VoLT , says, “Daily, over 30 Million people search the web for meanings of various words. With VoLT App, we are targeting a wide range of audience using an innovative, neural-linking process that has a user-friendly interface and is highly addictive. With our Offline Products like Books, Games and others, slated to be launched by December end ”. 

VoLT was founded in 2016 by Abhishek as a product of Edutainment Spearheads which simplifies vocabulary learning process using Creative Teaching Methodologies, ‘Law of Association’ of Psychology, Innovative approach of Mnemonics, Funny Stories, Anecdotes and Colored Pictures to increase retention. Since its launch, VoLT’s android application has reached more than 300,000 downloads, and is growing 125 percent per month, with over 20 million words learnt till date. 

“We target to become the most powerful and widely-consumed vocabulary learning resource in India catering to school students, aspirants of competitive exams like CAT, GRE, BANK PO, SSC, Job seekers and English enthusiasts.
