Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based job hiring startup, Jobspire raises $262K in seed funding from Chicago-based investment firm – Purvi Capital LLC. The funding round also witnessed Nikunj Jain – Co-Founder, Frankly.me, Krishna Jha – Co-Founder, Telnet Ventures, Sanjay Bakshi – Co-Founder, Impulse Marketing, Kapil Nayyar – Partner, and International Business Advisors along with Willfly Ventures. The company will utilize the fund to reinforce technology platform and expand its team.
Incorporated in 2014 by alumni of Manipal Institute of Technology, Pune – Mohak Dhingra, Kartik Luke Singh, Sandesh Kini and Varun Mayya, Jobspire Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is owned and operated by an online hiring portal jobspire.net. The portal offers visual and experiential job search platform which allows an enterprises of all sizes to construct and engage their talent brand using visual stories. Claims to helps startups and SMEs create an experiential company and allows candidates to show their skills by completing quick challenges, the firm also claims to have more than 30 to 50 daily active applicants over 1,000 daily users. The portal has placed candidates in about 91 companies.
On the other hand, founded in 2011 by Ravi Srivastava, Purvi Capital LLC is a seed investment firm that provides angel, seed and early stage capital to companies operating in the United States, India and Chicago. Today, the firm seeks to invest in technological segment.
