U.S.-based CDI Acquires Talent Acquisition Solutions Startup, ScaleneWorks

Bengaluru: U.S.-based multinational company, CDI Corp. acquires five-year-old, Bengaluru-based talent acquisitions solutions company, ScaleneWorks for an undisclosed amount.  According to the report, this acquisition provides CDI the potential to capitalize on the large and high-growth Indian market, deliver support for the offshore needs of existing CDI clients, and build up a cost-effective offshore delivery capability to serve those clients in CDI’s home markets.

Incorporated in 2010 by Sanjay Shelvankar – an HR industry professional, ScaleneWorks provides Human Capital Management Solutions, Task RPO and Enterprise RPO. The firm also bespoke innovative on-site recruitment solutions across IT, ITES and Engineering industries to a number of global blue chip and fast emerging Indian companies. 

Speaking about the acquisition, David Arkless, Executive Vice President & President, CDI International says, “The acquisition of ScaleneWorks represents an important step in our plan to selectively expand our footprint to high growth markets and offer new and existing clients additional value-added services. On the other hand, CDI is entering India on the back of the ‘Make in India’ message in order to push their services in the field of engineering, information technology and staffing solutions. The company’s customers function in a wide range of industries including Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Aerospace and many more and it has delivery centers in the U.S., Canada and the UK.
