U.S. Based Peesh Venture Capital's Maiden Investment in India, Invests Rs.6 Crore in MeetUniv

Bangalore: Noida based online education portal MeetUniv.com raises Rs.6 crore from U.S. based VC fund Peesh Venture Capital. Owned by Beyond Horizons EduConnect Pvt. Ltd, MeetUniv had earlier raised $50,000 from Times Group’s fund TLabs, and is backed by the CampusEAI.

Founded in 2012 by Keshav Munjal and Nitin Kapoor, MeetUniv - an online portal, aims to offer the most curated educational content on its portal with power packed video lectures.  The firm allows students to hunt, select and apply for abroad to various universities across the world. It also offers bespoke guidance and enables students to directly chat with universities for any queries. Expanding its reach, the firm claims to have over 3,000 colleges & universities and provides course information, listing of 40,000 undergraduate and postgraduate courses across U.S., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore and others.
On the other hand, incorporated in 2014 by Peesh Chopra, PVC is an early stage investor in tech focused startups. The Venture Capital firm had recently entered India with a $50 million fun
