TripFactory Raises $10 Million in Series A from Aarian Capital

Bangalore: TripFactory, a California based online travel portal that helps the people to plan better tours, raises $10 million in series A round of funding from Aarian Capital. The raised fund will be backing the company’s plan to develop infrastructure to connect advisors and agents with travelers. They will also be focusing on building a strong technology and mobile expertise team.
Speaking about the new development, Vinay Gupta, Co-Founder, TripFactory says, “We are really excited to partner with Aarin Capital and have luminaries like Mohan, with us to guide us to the next level. The new round of funding will be used by the company to grow the business as well as invest in building a solid technology team and mobile expertise”.
Vinay Gupta and Amit Aggarwal, founders of the city-based travel agency, launched TripFactory in 2014. The company offers packages curated by our travel experts administrators which can be customized according to the tourists’ wishes. The customers can choose from over 10,000 holidays across more than 100 destinations. It has also partnered with Jet Airways, Go Air, SpiceJet and Air Costa to offer hotel and flight experience to the customers. Till date, the startup has sold around 4,000 holidays, with a gross value of over $2 million.
