Bengaluru: Wearing fashion apparels have become a trend in today’s fashionista world. People spend fortunes on fashion apparels that they mostly wear only once. This makes no sense. On the other hand, the one willing to rent such garments had no place to go. But Klozee solves this bigger issue. This unique Bengaluru based company founded by Pratik Moona and Prashant Jain, both IIT alumni, raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Tracxnlabs and other unnamed angel investors just within one month of its inception.
Owned and operated by Humble Egg Technologies, the company currently is operational only in Bengaluru and plans to expand its business operations to Mumbai and Delhi in the next 30 days using the raised capital. Klozee offers a detailed catalogues of designer apparel from various brands and designers. The users can rent these apparels for ten percent of the retail price of the apparel plus the same amount as a deposit.
Customers can choose from two different rental options – an ‘express delivery’ option, wherein the desired dress is delivered to the user within three hours of booking and is picked up the next day. The other one being the ‘book for later’ option, where the dress is delivered to the user on the desired date and the user keeps it for 4 days after which the dress will be picked back by the company.
Currently, the company only offers women’s apparels and has over 150 Indian and Western designer outfits listed on their portal which are available for rent at a price ranging from Rs.3,000-90,000.
