TheKarrier, an On-Demand Online Truck Services Raises Seed Funding

Bangalore: Bangalore based mini-truck service provider, TheKarrier raises Rs.1.5 crore in its seed funding round from Sol Primero, Outbox Ventures and Nikunj Jain – Founder, Frankly.me.  The fund will be utilized to expand company's operations in four different cities by the end of 2015.

Incorporated in 2015 by IIT & PESIT graduates – Aravind Sanka, Pavan Guntupalli and Rishikesh Ramanath, TheKarrier is an online mini trucks marketplace for transporting goods within the cities. Run on a pay-by-kilometer model, the firm businesses involve last mile logistics handling, order tracking, van rentals, customer support and analytics. Today, one can book truck through the app or on their website, where the confirmation time is less than 45 seconds and lead time is less than 45 minutes. The technology also allows for live tracking of the vehicles.
 
Currently, functioning in Bangalore, the firm claims to have over 300 vehicles with more than 1,000 orders per month. The firm also claims to have 25 plus clients which include Delhivery and Flipkart.
