The bursting website for startups, Tech Cocktail has raised $2.5Million in a seed round of funding. The company based in LA, caters to the news of startup entrepreneurs, information about them and latest events that are dealt by them. This round of funding was raised by Tony Hsieh, CEO, Zappos, reports VB.
The company plans to be one of the leading tech websites in the future blogged Frank Gruber, CEO of Tech Cocktail. Hsieh travelled to LA last week along with his team, to attend the events gathered by the host company. More entrepreneurs will be moving to LA as the new round of funding calls for more development in the urban community and increase in infrastructure such as; educational institutions, healthcare, petty houses and tech hubs.
The media company will see growth in all the parts of U.S, establishing the brand of the company. However, there are plans to establish a national website for entrepreneurs in the near future. More than 30,000 people attended one of the events last year.
