Startup Let's Recycle Raises $2 Million in Second Round of Fundig

Bangalore: Let's Recycle, a waste management and recycling startup, has raised a $2 million Series B round of funding from social venture fund Aavishkaar. The company is now looking forward to expand its capacity, improve infrastructure and add more facilities for its service.

Speaking about the funding, Sandeep Patel, Founder & CEO, Let's Recycle says, “We are expanding our capacity and improving our infrastructure. We have three existing facilities and will be adding two more”.

Incepted in 2012, Let's Recycle claims to be one of India’s largest waste management solution companies, which aspires to bring in environmental solutions that can help the communities in becoming sustainable.

The firm is operated by Nepra Resource Management Pvt. Ltd. and has developed an Enterprise Resource Planning system to track and monitor activities, to make the entire system more efficient. The Ahmedabad based company has enrolled over 950 waste pickers in the state who are taught to identify the right kind of waste that fetches more value in the recycling market.
