Bengaluru: Satvacart, the Gurgaon based online grocery delivery store has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Palaash Ventures. Few other angel investors including an Ex-Managing Director of a Private Equity fund also participated in the round. The company plans to utilize the funds to increase their operational capacity, customer acquisition and to improve their technological offerings. The company also confirmed that Arvind Gupta (Head, Digital India Foundation), Vijay Shukla (MD, Setu Ventures) and Pushpinder Singh (Founder, TravelKhana) will be joining the board.
Founded in 2015 by Rahul Hari, Satvacart (operated by Satvacart Innovative Concepts Pvt. Ltd.) offers a catalog of over 4000 products across categories listed on their portal. These include grocery, fruits & vegetables, personal care and other household essentials.
Unlike other grocery delivery companies, Satvacart offers delivery across five different time slots. This has helped the users to get their desired items delivered according to their time convenience.
