Bengaluru: One of India’s largest mobile e-Commerce platform, Paytm, signed ex-Times Internet prodigy Deepak Abbot as Senior Vice President of Growth Marketing. Deepak has over 17 years of work experience in the field of Digital ecosystem working in organizations like Reliance Entertainment Digital, Zapak, Satyam Computers and CyberMedia. This is Deepak’s re-appointment at Paytm, as he was working as Head of Product Marketing back in 2013-2014 in the company.
“It feels great to be a part of Paytm again. This is one of the most exciting phases in the organization’s growth curve. Paytm has aggressive plans to expand its business and I am looking forward to contributing towards the same with my growth marketing efforts,” says Deepak about his re-appointment.

Paytm is strengthening its leadership by linking up pearls. Previously the company hired former RBI executive Shinjini Kumar as the chief executive of its payment bank and former Citigroup executive Madhur Deora as CFO.
Paytm, which is a consumer brand of India’s leading mobile internet company One97 Communications, carries more than 140 million registered users. Company is looking forward to cover up more and more of the Indian economy, especially at mobile payment and commerce service, as it has already announced its payment banking services.
