Online Women Fashion Portal KAARYAH Raises Funding from Ratan Tata

Bangalore: Gurgaon based online fashion and lifestyle portal for women KAARYAH raises an undisclosed amount of funding from Indian businessman Ratan Tata. The company will utilize the fund to provide women’s non casual segment and offers western wear in 18 sizes. The site will emphasize on finding and customizing fit that can work for women’s body shapes and sizes.

Owned and operated by Lifestyle Solutions Pvt. Ltd., KAARYAH was incorporated in 2013 by Nidhi Agarwal. The firm also brings out 150 formal wear designs every month along with wardrobe solutions that help discover not just the perfect fit but also what flatters different body types. Today, the company claims to have its own catalog of shirts, trousers & a skirt for women. It also claims to be larger than any Indian or International brand’s offering and estimated to grow 2x in the next 3-4 years.

On the other hand, Indian businessman Ratan Tata has previously invested in e-Commerce ventures including Snapdeal, Urban Ladder, Bluestone, and He has also invested in mobile commerce firm Paytm, Altaeros Energies and many more.
