Nexus backed TalentSprint Acquires Java Learning Center

Bangalore: Hyderabad based professional skill development and integrated talent management company, TalentSprint acquires Bangalore based startup Java Learning Center for an undisclosed amount. As per the report, Java Learning Center is offering advanced programming courses in Java and other related technologies to new job seekers & young professionals and plans to train over 6000 people from the current capacity of 2000 trainees per year. However, with this acquisition, the combined capacity will climb to 30,000 trainees per year by 2020.

Incorporated in 2005 by Srinivas Dande, Java Learning Centre provides training in Java, Big Data and software testing. Currently operating in multiple centres across Bangalore (Mathikere, BTM layout & Marathahalli), the company trained over 25,000 graduates since incorporation. Today, the startup claims to train over 2000 plus IT career aspirants each year and has a large alumni network placed in leading IT firms.

On the other hand, founded in 2008 by J.A. Chowdary, Nexus Venture Partners backed TalentSprint is a National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) partner. Focused on base skill development and training company, TalentSprint offers employability programmes to professionals by using experiential learning and Ipearl. Today, the firm claims to have around 1,00,000 graduated professionals in the IT and BFSI sectors.
