Bangalore: A Mumbai based startup Super App (Tinder for jobs) has announced the acquisition of technology focused commerce facilitator CrunchCommerce.com to disrupt jobs on mobiles, after acquiring the mobile SaaS startup, Viraltrics that offers customer referrals to developers and marketers. As part of deal, the team of CrunchCommerce and Super App will work together on the app on priority along with existing business.
Founded in the middle of 2014 by Faisal Memon, a computer science engineer who worked before at L&T as a software engineer, Super App is mobile-only company that allows job seekers to build their resumes and to search relevant jobs. With the help of CrowdFire, a parent company Super App found 100 high profile startups as recruiters and launched tinder for jobs. To match the right job and companies to the job seekers Super App follows Tinder’s format.
This app allows users and employers to connect over mail, if the employers and job seekers both swipes right for each other. The company claimed 250,000 download in a short span of time from all around the globe after the launch of mobile resume builder. To expand its vision, this application is upgraded to act as a hunting tool for jobseekers which allows users to publish their resumes online by using their smartphones. Today, it reached a half a million registered users as building a resume in a friendly manner and finding a job is a key feature.
Founded by Dayson Pais in August 2014, CrunchCommerce.com is a bootstrapped company with SaaS products and a team of 20 members. By making this a total headcount of 20+, the two versatile mobile led smart teams crack jobs on mobile. By working together for the last 5 years, CrunchCommerce team built Textme, a B2C product popular by the name Webly.
