Bengaluru: Infosys Co-Founder Nandan Nilekani leads an undisclosed amount of funding round in mobile currency tracker app – Mubble. This is Nandan’s first investment in the mobile technology space. Mubble plans to scale-up its technology team by hiring new talent using the freshly raised capital.

Previously called as Balance Inbox, Mubble was founded in 2013 by three friends – Ashwin Ramaswamy (IIT Madras, IIM Bangalore), Pranav Jha (IIT Bombay) and Raghvendra Varma (IIT BHU). It is the world’s first and only mobile app that enables the users to keep a track of their prepaid mobile recharge and data usage. The app also gives out the exact tariff at which each call is made and works on both single and dual SIM handsets. Through the app, users can know the exact amount of data that each of the applications installed in their mobile are consuming. The app works offline and covers all the telecom service providers in India.
