Mohit Srivastava, ex-Airbnb India head moves to a new role in RoomTonite

Bangalore: RoomTonite that claims to be India’s first and the only last minute hotel booking app, appoints Mohit Srivastava, the former India head of Airbnb, as the Chief of Revenue & Partnerships with immediate effect. The Progenitor & CEO of RoomsTonite, Suresh John, expounded, “RoomsTonite is in growth phase and we have been integrating exceptional aptitude to expedite that magnification. The veteran in managing and scaling online business, Mohit will avail RoomTonite identifying new avenues for growth and also fortify the subsisting profit opportunities. He will additionally lead the partnership team to set off the expansion of RoomsTonite. Afore joining RoomsTonite, Mohit was the Managing Director of Indian subcontinent and UAE at Airbnb, the ecumenical bellwether in hotel accommodation.
Mohit’s brilliant skills in operations were observed in the Airbnb when he commenced the operations of the first two offices in Berlin, Germany where he built and ran Airbnb’s U.K. operations and later shifted to India to roll out Asia operations, outside the headquarter. Prior to joining Airbnb, Mohit was with MakeMyTrip from its inception and spent 11 years in several leadership roles. He was the Product and Business Head of Online Sales where he led Airlines, the flagship offering, for several years and additionally looked after the Gujarat market as the Regional Manager.
