Bengaluru: NightStay, a Noida-based hotel booking platform, raises $500,000 in pre-seed funding round from BedRock ventures, Rajesh Sawhney of GSF and Shailesh Singh, a partner at SeedFund.

NightStay was established in 2014 by Nasr Khan (former Associate VP, Info Edge). The basic idea behind starting this company was to create a platform which can efficiently utilize the empty and unreserved rooms and provide them to its members at discounted rates. The mobile app enables its members to book a boutique or a premium hotel at the nth moment without paying any additional charges. It also offers a minimum discount of 10 percent on all the bookings done through the app.

Currently, the company offers its services in six cities namely – Bengaluru, Goa, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai and claims to have tied up with over 150 above three-star hotels, while also achieving a growth rate of 200 percent month-over-month.
