Bengaluru: Timesaverz, a Mumbai-based home management services firm, raises Rs.15 crore in its Series A funding round led by Ronnie Screwvala’s Unilazer Ventures. The startup plans to expand its business operations to new locations and add more services to its portfolio using the freshly raised capital. Prior to this, the company had raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from investors Ashish Jhalani, Neville Taraporewalla, Nitesh Kripalani and Rajesh Sawhney in 2014.

Owned and operated by Timesaverz Dotcom Pvt. Ltd., Timesaverz was started by Debadutta Upadhyay, an IIM-Kolkata graduate and Lovnish Bhatia. It connects home service seekers with home service providers. Through this platform, the users can avail a wide range of home services like household repairs, pest control, gardening, car cleaning, baby sitting, plumbing and such others. The company has enrolled numerous professionals for these services and each of these will undergo thorough background check and verification before being listed on its portal.

As of now, the company has its presence in five Indian cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad and claims to cater to one service request every three seconds via a 1,000 plus partner network in five metros, with 80 percent of this coming from its mobile app.
