Bengaluru: Hike Messenger, India’s fastest growing messaging app, announces the appointment of Vidur Vyas as the Vice President of Marketing and Sumit Mehra as the Studio Head, both will report to Kavin Mittal, CEO & Founder, Hike. As a part of their new roles in Hike, Vidur will be spearheading the company’s marketing strategies, brand positioning & strategic partnerships; and Sumit will be responsible for development, production & building game strategies.

Prior to this, Vidur was a Senior Director of Marketing at PepsiCo India. He has vast experience in brand building and has led many health and wellness campaigns for PepsiCo, Tropicana, Lay’s and Kurkure. He has also worked at Accenture Consulting and Colgate Palmolive during his 18 year career. On the other hand, Sumit started his career as a game developer in 1999 and later on worked with companies like Microsoft Games Studio, EA Games, Jump Games and Zynga. Before joining Hike, he was the General Manager of the IP division at Zynga played a key role in launching its maiden IP Game – Hidden Shadows.
