Bengaluru: Fastudent, India’s B2B2C education e-Commerce startup, raises an undisclosed amount of funding from a bunch of investors namely - Kanwaljit Sing (Founder, Fireside Ventures), Ajay Lakhotia (Former Director, Vertex Venture), Pavan Ongole (Former Director, SoftBank) and Ashish Gupta, Trustee, Ashoka University & Former COO of eValueServe. The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform and expand its business to Bengaluru and Mumbai. Last year, Fastudent had raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Ashish, to increase its geographical footprint and to expand its team.

Founded in 2013 by Gaurav Barman (Founder & CEO) and Geetanjali, Fastudent serves as a platform to provide academic needs to the students of all age groups, right from playgroup to post-graduation. The main aim of the company is to bridge the gap between Indian dream of Ivy League Education for all students and to offer them the world class educational products. Fastudent has collaborated with over 200 education institutes, where Fastudent’s technology platform will allow these institutes to have their own customized white labelled e-Commerce stores.
The company has 500 brands, 1,00,000 products and more than 32 categories such as digital learning, branded merchandise, books, sports, stationery, uniforms, and many more. As of now, Fastudent has serviced more than 90,000 orders and has 1.2 million students as its dedicated consumer base.
