Bangalore: Gurgaon-based Relevant e-solutions Pvt. Ltd., the startup behind fashion social network Roposo.com, raises $5 Million in a series-A round by Tiger Global Management. The other investors India Quotient and Binny Bansal, co-founder and chief operating officer of Flipkart also participated in this round of funding.
Based on a recommendation engine originally used for Giveter, the social networking and discovering platform for fashion products, Roposo was founded in 2013 by Avinash Saxena, ex- CTO of Zomato, Mayank Bhangadia and Kaushal Shubhank. Today, Roposo has created a giant online playroom with millions of fashion products. The company lets shoppers save and classify clothing and others fashion related substances. Indeed, it let companies and stores create accounts for their brands. Roposo have more than 150 fashion e-Commerce stores that use Roposo to market their goods.
Being one of the rapidly growing India’s e-Commerce startups markets, Roposo earlier raised $1 million in seed funding bridge round from Bansal and India Quotient last June. The company is expecting to become one of the largest fashion searches in the world.
