Dell's Application Testing Startup Incubator Program in India will act as Oxygen for Nascent Entrepreneurs

Bangalore: Dell Services touched another milestone on June 17 by declaring the launch of an Application Testing Startup Incubator Program (T-SIP) which will be operable in India. This program is an initiative for promising businessmen to unite to Dell’s sturdy application testing services organization. This will enable the nascent entrepreneurs to fabricate new and impending disruptive testing solutions. The program will be inclusive of testing for security, mobile, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications, along with Testing-as-a-Service and crowd testing.

With T- SIP, selected startups can form a network with the technology connoisseurs of Dell to seek advice and consulting. The program is also used to get assistance for generating the Intellectual Property (IP) of startups to augment their business. It is said that in the first phase only three startups will be chosen.

“We believe that this program will offer multiple benefits to both startups and Dell’s customers. Innovative startups can scale quickly and significantly by teaming up with Dell. For Dell, this program will help us explore ways to strengthen our service offering to improve cycle time and quality, and pass on cost reductions to our customers,” Dhiraj Sinha, Executive Director, Application Testing, Dell Services was quoted as saying.

The submission has been opened for startups who are focused on application testing and own unique IP in this realm. The submissions of these startups will be assessed on criteria such as concept, beta, actual installations and future roadmap. The two-tier assortment procedure will comprise of an in-person conversation with startups that catalog register, followed by a presentation to the Dell Testing Innovation Steering Committee.
