Bangalore: A new generation private sector bank, DCB teams up with BITS Pilani to organize the international startup conclave, ‘Conquest 2015’ in Bangalore. It will feature approximately 35 entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors and venture capitalists.
Through the event, the budding entrepreneurs will gain much a momentum to launch their business conception and form a company. This platform will additionally arrange mentoring sessions and will help in networking with the potential investors. Conquest 2015 comprises of sundry segments such as technology and e-Commerce. This event has already recorded over 1500 registrations which include participants from abroad, while only 50 teams could make it to the final list. Only 12 teams participated in the Bangalore leg. In additament to the incubation, mentoring and IP filing, the mentors also advised them on fundraising, revenue model, hiring, branding & marketing, up-scaling and technology. The launch of the event also witnessed a few eminent figures from industry who include Murali Natrajan – MD & CEO, DCB Bank; J.K.
