CureJoy Plans to Grow Big; Raises $1.15 Million Pre-Series A Funding

Bengaluru: CureJoy, a natural health and wellness startup, raises $1.15 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by Accel Partners. Other angel investors including Subrata Mitra, Larry Braitman (Founder of Flycast & Adify), Venk Krishnan (Founder & CEO, Nuware Technologies) and others also made significant contributions to this financing. The company plans to shell-out the fresh capital to expand its business operations to new cities in India & abroad and also strengthen its work fleet.

We have seen a tremendous growth over the last six quarters and we consider this to be the right time to scale our operations in order to cement our position as the fastest growing company in the online health and wellness segment,” says Dikshant Dave, Founder, CureJoy, speaking about the fundraising.

Headquartered in California, CureJoy was founded by startup enthusiasts – Dikshant Dave and Shrinivasa Sharma. It is an online community for natural health and wellness where people get fresh and legitimate answers to many common health related issues and also seek the advice from experts. The company also enables the natural and alternative healthcare experts to connect to users who are looking for genuine help or advice.

Since its inception in 2013, CureJoy has grown by almost 100 percent every quarter and gets over eight million unique site visits every month. The users can access CureJoy’s services both on the website or the mobile app. The company also has an active Facebook community with over 2.5 million users, including it in the top three companies globally in terms of customer engagement through Facebook. As of now, CureJoy offers its services in India, U.S., Australia and other English speaking countries and is planning to reach out to over 50 million users of Germany, Spain and France through customized content in regional languages.
