Bangalore: SaaS based CRM Firm, Capillary Technologies acquires MartJack, a digital commerce solution offered by Hyderabad based Reasoning Global eApplications Pvt Ltd. As per the financial information of the acquisition, Capillary has raised a loan worth Rs.15 Crore from India Finance SVB to fund the deal. On the other hand, as part of the acquisition, the company seeks customer engagement through an omni-channel strategy.
MartJack is founded in 2007 by Abhay Deshpande – a successive entrepreneur who has 14 years of experience in the Indian e-Commerce business. Today, the company provides end-to-end online commerce solution to retailers across internet, mobile and in-store kiosks to boost online and offline sales. The cloud based SaaS product also has an integrated payment, logistics and customer acquisition solution.
On the other side, started by Krishna Mehra, Aneesh Reddy and Ajay Modani in 2008, Capillary technologies provides customer data, gathers insight through social media, mobile, e-mail and online. Capillary provides customer engagement and CRM solutions to more than 170 brands across 12,000 retail locations in U.S., UK, Middle East, South Africa and Asia Pacific region. Capillary’s customers include Benetton, Marks & Spencer, Puma, Pizza Hut, Nike, Raymond, Peter England and Lifestyle, Faaso’s and KFC.
Talking about the process in seventh year, Capillary had received $14 million from existing investors Sequoia Capital and Norwest Venture Partners. It had also won a $4.5 million strategic investment from American Express and raises $80 million from Singapore’s state owned investment firm Temasek.
