BoxMySpace Secures Rs.1.92 Crore Seed Funding

Bengaluru: BoxMySpace, the Mumbai based physical storage services provider, raises Rs.1.92 crore in its seed round of funding from Farooq Oomerbhoy – the co-founder of Orios Venture Partners, Singapore Angel Networks and Ritesh Veera. The company plans to utilize the funds to expand their areas of operation to Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi, and to strengthen its marketing strategies.

Established in 2014 by Pratyush Jalan (Ex-Microsoft employee), BoxMySpace is a one-of-its-kind physical storage service provider which helps people overcome the challenge of insufficient storage facility in their house. All that the customers have to do is, simply order the boxes online and the BoxMySpace delivers the boxes to the customer’s address at their time convenience.  The customers have to then pack their things in the company’s high-quality storage boxes which are then picked by the company and stored safely The items are stored in the company’s secure warehouse facility which is guarded 24/7 through CCTV cameras.
 
BoxMySpace also provides free insurance to every box that is stored in its facility. The customers are charged Rs.250 per month for each box that can be carried by a single person and the price varies according to the box sizes. The company claims to have served 100 customers and stored over 500 boxes in its facility till date.
