Angel Investors to Back Edu4share in Aggrandizing its Offerings

Bengaluru: Edu4share, a Gurgaon-based exam preparation platform, raises Rs.1.37 crore in seed funding from a group of angel investors including Nalin Jain, President & CEO at GE (Rail, Mining, and Defence & Aerospace). The company intends to develop a mobile app for better user engagement and add more distance learning providers and professional tutors to its existing portal.

Owned and operated by Global Edu4share Pvt. Ltd., Edu4share was founded by Ashvin Jakhar, an ex-Naval Officer & ISB alumnus. It enables the students to connect with mentors, individual and business sellers who specialize in various fields and subjects. The students who enroll into the company are provided with preparatory materials such as coaching materials, e-learning courses and personal notes, and mentorship for all Tier-1 competitive exams such as CAT, GRE, GMAT, JEE, AIPMT, GATE, UPSC and many more.

Incepted in 2014, the company has over 200 mentors from top educational institutions like IIT-Delhi, IIT-Mumbai, IIT-Madras, IIM-Ahmedabad, IIM-Bangalore, IIM-Calcutta, ISB, AIIMS, AFMC and Lady Hardinge Medical College who also give collective tips to students on how to crack particular exams.
