Many enterprises enter into the business world every day, but the once which actually make a long lasting presence are those who are fanatical about the quality they deliver. Successful businesses inevitably place great emphasis on managing quality control to ensure that the products and services offered to the customers are consistent, reliable and exceed their expectations. The national and international assessment bodies appraise the quality aspects of the businesses and provide certification which helps the organizations to establish a culture of continual improvement with respect to efficiency, quality, higher security, minimum effect on the environment and many more.

Organizations see a dual value in a good certification. First, the company has a proof of international quality which will help them in attracting international customers; another biggest advantage is that the company gains knowledge from an external expert about the current stand of the company and also the areas with improvement potential. Certification helps the businesses to decide upon a road map to improve processes, products and people. Organizations can also learn from the risk identification that happens in a good order, a good certification should entail both the qualities and facilitate enhancement of strength.

Quality is all Pervasive
Quality is a single thing which is all pervasive irrespective of any industry, product or organizational level. But probably there are some sub sectors which are not fully addressed in national and international market. For an instance, Auto Retail, a sub sector of automotive major has hardly any international standards prevailing. We would like to address sectors such as hospital industry, hotel industry and hospitality which are not appropriately attended by any national or international standards.

Finding a right partner to work with is quite a defy in the industry today. We are looking for demanding customers who are passionate to make a difference in their functioning and willing to improve to reach up to certain quality standards. If the customers are ready to work on the same ground, they can surely witness an added value and extra boost for their businesses to grow.

Indian Perspective
The quality carries the same significance in India as it carries for most countries of the world. There are many companies which take quality very seriously, and they are successfully competing in international markets. Indian market is strategically important from the perspective of economic growth and has an amazing growth potential where people are well-informed and know what is right for them to grow. From the global perspective, the big challenge for India is to come to comparable standards with international standards in the global markets. Today, more and more global sourcing and large manufactures are open to work with suppliers from many different countries, and they would expect these suppliers to perform at competitive levels. Company that meets international standards can compete in international markets, this is where UL DQS assesses, verifies and certify if the company really live up to specific international standards.

Our company has recently introduced the Global Conformance Mark certification in India which provides independent, third-party services to industries across, irrespective of their size and kinds. GC-Mark is a seal which indicates that a product, service or organization fulfills a number of relevant requirements. It is a visual sign that people do more than just complying to basic rules. It shows that they adhere several international standards & they have a system which is tailored to a very unique industry. Based upon traditional national and international standards, UL DQS has identified and developed criteria for excellence in quality, safety, hygiene, sustainability, and customer-satisfaction. Each of the GC-Mark has a corresponding set of requirements. Companies and organizations can request a voluntary assessment that analyzes whether they meet the relevant GC-Mark criteria.

Way to sustainable success
Maintaining quality is not a onetime activity and neither a quick win. Its a sustainable success that businesses have to maintain for the whole business life. The quality field has branched out to other management systems like environment management systems, occupation, health and safety management systems, risk management systems and so on. There are a lot of other fields where management carries a high responsibility of integrating these issues into the management with different focus needed for different segments. The international standards and organizations not only help businesses in assessing and certifying them with compliance but also aid organizations to achieve greater heights in terms of quality, making sure a sustainable success.
